I use a general purpose Windows desktop as my core using the Roon GUI application.

Being clumsy (!!) I repeatedly shut down Roon by accident when clearing my running programs

Any chance of a confirmation dialog “do you want to exit Roon?” to prevent this

I used to do that a lot when I first started. If you want to have your server up all the time, even when the GUI is closed, you can install the Roon standalone server on the same machine, then still use the Roon app to access the server running on the same machine.

I ran a setup like this for the first year or so of Roon before transitioning the server to some dedicated hardware.
