Describe the issue

Roon Signal Path display is cut off in latest Roon 2.0 build 1490. Mac App & iPad. Attached pic from Mac App.

Describe your network setup

ISP Modem, Linksys Router...

Attached photos from iPad Roon App…

NOTE: iPhone Roon App has always been cut off in this same manner, presumably a space limitation. However, the full details were visible on iPad and Mac Apps prior to latest Roon update with Build 1490.

Hey @desbiss,

Thanks for writing in and sharing your report!

For due diligence, could you please remove the Roon app from your iPad and perform a fresh re-install to ensure the issue is persistent on a fresh instance?

If the issue persists on a fresh download, could you please share a set of Roon logs from the issue iPad? Please use the directions found here and send over a set of logs to our File Uploader?

We’ll be on standby for your reply, thanks! :raised_hands:

Hi @benjamin, thanks for looking into this! I have removed and reinstalled the Roon App from my iPad only, (did not remove / reinstall with the Mac App). The issue remains, please see attached pics. Log file has been uploaded under my username.

Hi @desbiss ,

Thanks for confirming. I’ve asked our team to look into this further, but it may take some time due to the holiday season. We’ll update you as we have more info to share, I’m guessing the name of the filters might just be longer than Signal Path is used to dealing with. Happy Holidays!

Thanks for getting back to me @noris. Please note: these filters fully displayed on my Mac & iPad Roon Apps prior to the last Roon update. See example pic from iPad taken Nov 30.

**Previous to the latest Roon update, it was only the iPhone Roon app that would get cut off in this manner…

Hi @desbiss,

Thank you for your ongoing patience. This item remains with our QA team but we should have a definitive next step shortly. Please stand by a little longer.

Sounds good @connor!

Hey @desbiss,

Just to give you a quick update - our QA team has a ticket in with development on the issue, but progress may be a bit slower side in terms of pushing a solution live.

We’ll of course keep you in the know as progress continues! Thanks for your patience in the meantime. :raised_hands:

Thanks @benjamin for the update. I understand it may take a little while. That said, the functionality will certainly be welcomed back when it returns…

I was on a troubleshooting call yesterday with my Server manufacturer and, with the Signal Path details being cut off as they are now, we were a bit challenged to confirm the end result of what was being sent to my DAC…

I hadn’t realized till then how valuable it is to be able to see the full signal path details in Roon!

Hey @desbiss,

Ah, I’m sorry to hear that!

Thinking a bit more on this, since we don’t have any immediate solution for you on the production build, I’d be curious to see if you run into the same issue while running our Early Access version of Roon. While we don’t have any specific solutions released to Early Access, it could still provide an additional troubleshooting note worth sharing with our team.

Here’s more info on Early Access, if you have any interest in testing further!

Hi @benjamin - thanks for the suggestion. Does the Early Access program have to be installed on all devices?

It does not appear that I can install it on my Roon Core which is an Antipodes CX, or on my iPhone…

However I might be able to add it to my iPad and MacBook Pro, which are incidentally the devices where the full Roon signal path details had previously been visible.

Hi @desbiss ,

It doesn’t need to be installed on all devices, but both the Server and the Remote (Roon app) need to be running the same branch (production or earlyaccess).

Thanks for the clarification Noris and the suggestion @benjamin. With that, it doesn’t appear I can take part in Early Access as my Core is on an Antioodes CX, which can not be updated to run Early Access…
