What app are you having the slowness issue with?

· Roon

What kind of performance/speed issue are you experiencing?

· The similar artists and other recommendation data at the bottom of the page is very slow to load, or doesn't load at all. I checked the server logs and there are multiple timeouts to Roon endpoints

Please try to reboot your Roon Server

Is there any change in behavior if you try to navigate to Roon Settings -> Library and set both Background and On-Demand Audio Analysis to Throttled or Off?

· No, the issue is still the same

Does the issue happen on multiple Roon Remotes (controllers) or just one?

· Issue happens on multiple remotes

Router Domain Name System (DNS) change

· I was able to change my router's DNS servers but it did not help

What is the operating system of your Roon Server host machine?

· Windows

Same issue here

Data at the bottom of an artist “Overview” page has become very slow to load in recent days. That is: “Recommended albums,” "New releases for fans of [artist], “Similar artists.” Scrolling down gets the ‘Roon spin emoji’ for many seconds for the first sections, scrolling down more yields another wait for the latter sections.

My network performance/router/etc. has not changed to my knowledge. Any ideas?

Describe the issue

I find that when you select an artist → Overview and go to bottom of page you wait for recommended albums to appear about 40-45 seconds and then similar artists, new releases, upcomming concerts etc for another 17-20 seconds.
This latency appears recently indifferent of location of Roon database (ssd or hdd) confirmed by other users with intel i5 core or more on Windows or Mac, even Qnap Nas. Can you confirm this bug and resolve it? Very annoing!
