Description Of Issue

LSX are playing at down-sampled bit-rate through Airplay. Seems like the LSX are capable of more so if I connect Ethernet from MAC mini to LSX and LSX to slave with Ethernet, will I be essentially getting the full lossless broadcast through the LSX?

Somewhat of a newbie to Roon and HIFI. Please excuse any ignorance on my part.

Yes, Ethernet will give you the best Roon experience.

If you can play to WiFi without any stuttering or drop outs, then the available res and the SQ should be the same as Ethernet.

Of the three, Airplay is the worst choice.

Hi @Eric_Mitchell,

This is correct, you will be limited in terms of sample rate via Airplay.
I would suggest connecting the Core + LSX via Ethernet for best stability.
