Congratulations on the efficiency breakthrough achieved with this filter! I can now do 1024 DSD with AHM7EC5L and DAC correction for 192KHz sources. Enjoying it very much.
I think you said in the manual that it is 1/8 of the load of Sinc-L. Do you expect a similar efficiency gain might be achieved in other filters or is it a one of a kind thing?
This is regarding to this particular filter, because there is a way to create a very similar filter that can achieve the same or better at much lower load and better time domain response (less taps), while keeping the overall filter characteristics practically the same.
So no changes expected at the moment regarding other filters. But I have promising result with some new carefully handcrafted machine code optimizations on other algorithms though.
