Description of the issue

Roon lists ist own folder.jpg as 1080 x 1061.

When I export the album (in order to retrieve the folder.jpg provided by roon) the albumart embedded in the exported tracks is 1024 x 1005.

How come resolution of the album art image is reduced when exporting the album ?

The image is already embedded in the file; Roon neither changes metadata nor the image when exporting.

Does that mean that Roon is not exporting the image it lists as “Roon” in the screenshot I included in my above post?

Export simply exports the media. This doesn’t contain any editing done in Roon, including the image.
