· I previously had my Roon server on my Windows PC, but switched yesterday (02/12/26) to the Mac around 4-5PM. After switching I noticed Roon Arc was taking forever to load and being laggy, so I checked Roon on my Mac when I found this issue ocurring.

Describe the issue

When opening Roon everything from Hi, User to New releases for you loads quickly, but when I scroll down to New releases for you nothing further exists and has to load. This loading takes 55-60 seconds every single time.

This also occurs on any artist page for 55-60 seconds. Everything loads quickly up to "Albums in my library" but when scrolling to that requires 55-60 to load "Upcoming concerts", "Key Members", "Influences", or other data.

When loading a "Key Members" page it only lods popular tracks instantly, then requires 55-60 to load any other data.

Describe your network setup

I am using Spectrum 1gbs cable internet, my modem was supplied by Spectrum and is a Hitron EN2251, my router is an Amplifi Alien setup to mesh to another Alien which my M4 Mac Mini is hardwired to pulling down 700mbps.

That’s where I first saw it, but didn’t see any support threads.

This was happening on release channel so I tried early access and the issue persists on both, there was no improvement.

Unsure if this is related but my Roon Arc settings in Roon state error 526 which is related to the Cloudflare SSL certificate according to this thread: Roon ARC showing 'Not Ready' due to Network Error 526 (ref#0CW8VS)

Thanks for sharing your report here.

We have analyzed your diagnostics, and we can confirm that the delay you are experiencing is being caused by a timeoutwhen your Roon Server attempts to connect via IPv6.

The Context Since you are currently running the Early Access version, please be aware that IPv6 connectivity is still under active testing and is not yet confirmed as a fully reliable method for all network setups. This instability is, unfortunately, an expected possibility within the testing branch.

The Recommendation If you need immediate stability, we strongly recommend switching back to the Production build.

While we are investigating similar reports of instability from some users on the Production build, those appear to stem from different underlying causes. In your specific case, the logs point clearly to the IPv6 handshake in the Early Access build.

To clarify, the slowness and 55-60 second loading times were already there on production with IPV6 turned off on my Amplifi Alien. I have turned it off again, so even early access should not be able to use it as of this moment and I am still getting error 526 in early access using only IPV4. I turned off IPV6 on my router, rebooted my Mac Mini, and my IP’s all show as IPV4.

I assume you should be able to verify that via my logs as well. I can install production again, but the delays and long loading times were there before I switched to early access to see if that issue persisted, improved, or got worse. It was identical.

Back on production using only IPv4 on my router, still getting the slow loads and Roon Arc page still stating error 526. I have attached the diagnostics info:

I am now getting 526, too. (On EA but this always worked and I have a static external IP). And there are two new 526 cases here:

New Release section on Home page is now completely missing.

Home page loading incredibly slowly on both version 2.58 and 2.60 after genres for you section (i.e. affects Discover banner and Tidal playlists section)

Artist page loading incredibly slowly on both version 2.58 and 2.60 after albums in my library section (i.e. affects key members, new releases, upcoming concerts, influences etc sections)

Home page below Listen Later takes ~1 minute to load, and ARC now has a 526 status code.

I also updated to 2.60.

It’s clearly a Roon cloud issue causing all these things, guessing they did something with the certificate that affects both production and EA, and hence causing the ARC issue. Plus there’s the slowness / load failure issue on Home and elsewhere from this thread here (but it seems this has been going on longer). Can you PLEASE put up a banner on top of the forum before we drown in threads? Thanks :wink:

Same exact issue here, and a very similar network setup!

Spectrum 1gbps going to a AMPLIFI Alien, though I’ve only got one.

If I sit on the homepage and keep my iPad awake it eventually loads the Roon playlists, but the new releases section never shows…

This shows for some of us, but the other issues still persist. Massive sluggishness when loading underneath New Releases or any other information on Band pages, artist pages, etc. along with the error 526 issue for Arc.

Yes, Roon recommendations, key members of, influences, followers, collaborators, etc taking 1 minute to load. Artist, albums, overview, discography comes right up but everything below albums in my library take 1 minute, Running new SonicTransporter i5 on a Ubiquiti Unifi network. It’s worked flawlessly for many year until now. Tried everything as OP did plus more to no avail. This seems to be on Roon’s db end of things.

Yes, clearly, as it affects so many people, probably everyone. Wait for Roon to fix it and leave your server alone :slight_smile: as there is nothing you can do but wait.
