As of 5pm CST, Roon has slowed to a crawl. No overt local internet degradation observed. Included are searches, retrievals, metadata retrievals
Note, this is relative performance.

Midwest US user here, no streaming services but about 20K local files, no slowdown seen in my system, using AT&T fiber.
Thanks. May be just a local surge to get the day’s depressing news. 
It’s been up and down in UK since last weekend speed wise. Posted about it in another thread and others had similar issues no response from any member of Roon team.
Are you using Windows anywhere in your server/playback chain? I’ve noticed that Windows intentionally degrades performance if there’s a pending update until you install it and reboot. If not using Windows, then never mind, carry on, and good luck.
