Welcome to the forum! Can you please share a screenshot of the exact error that you see in the blocking? By smart app, are you referring to the Windows integrated security, or is this a 3rd party antivirus solution? Is there any option in the error message to set Roon as an exception? Let us know when possible, thanks!

That sounds likely. We recommend adding exceptions for Roon.exe, RoonServer.eve and RAATServer.exe to any firewalls or third party security software. Let us know if you need any more assistance!
