I just installed Music Assistant and want to try things out using Ropieee as an endpoint. To do this, I enabled Snapcast and added it to Music Assistant as well.
Is it correct that hi-res (24bit/96kHz) is downsampled?
Yeah… that’s a limitation from Snapcast. I’ve to admit that the documentation from MA is also a bit lacking in this area.
Have you tried the Squeezelite protocol?
Works! Just had to enable 192kHz etc in the settings.
