Software that helps separate/label individual tracks?

I have a mp3 of a live concert by a favorite band. Since it isn’t an official release, it is one, long mp3 (1.5 hours in length), which prevents me from being able to go directly to specific tracks (or label them).

Anyone know of a software that helps separate a long mp3 into individual tracks and label them?

Do you have a .cue file for this album?

A .cue file (or cue sheet) is a small, plain-text metadata file that acts as a table of contents for an audio album or disc image.

No, I only have mp3, but will research the .cue file you mention

If it’s just about one file, the free Audacity lets you split it, and you can find the spots by looking at the visual wave form.

Or listen to it, take the timings, and write a cue file as @MusicD suggested.

You could try CUETools , it’s free and works both ways splitting a FLAC/CUE to tracks and Tracks to a FLAC/CUE

I am not sure if it handles MP3
