Some questions from a new Roon user

Signed up for a Roon trial (followed by a trial of Qobuz so I could explore the integration). Gave it the music folder on my NAS.

Some questions:

• When I search a label, it’s appears, however when I click, it only shows the music in my library. Anyway I could get everything available on Qobuz?
• I like the Qobuz integration in Roon - more than Qobuz. Anyway to search Qobuz when outside my home in Roon?
• Is there anyway to disable Arc? I don’t want any ports open to my home network.

1. Currently, the label search only returns results from your library. You may want to add your vote in Feedback > Feature Suggestions.

Search by record label outside library

I just discovered that Roon will only search what’s in my library if I search by record label or click on the record label link under Credits. It seems odd given that just about any other link under Credits will give results outside my library (on Qobuz). Any chance of getting this changed?

2. Yes, use Roon ARC … I’ll address your concern next.

3. You can run ARC without opening any ports. This is how I use it. Simply setup Tailscale on your Roon server, and your mobile device. And, in the Roon interface under Settings → Roon ARC, set the port to 0.
