Some weird behavior on Playlist Filter edit box. I put [Roon] on my Roon playlists so if I want to have an interactive Playlist editing session I can pick a Roon playlist vs a Tidal one.
When I enter letters in the Filter box, the result list is altered not in a good way. Sometimes the first square bracket disappears “Roon]” or sometimes [Roon] disappears altogether.
I suspect this is due to my use of special characters like square brackets in my Playlist names.
Have you tried removing the brackets? I would have used Playlistname - Roon
From my test just now of 4 playlists, it is the brackets causing issues. I put two as playlist - Roon and two as playlist [Roon].
If I type Roon with no bracket I get all of them displayed but the brackets are not displayed nor is the filter characters highlighted. If I type the left bracket in filter, I get the 2 with the brackets.
I had this recently somewhere else with track names. I think it was a track that was actually a performance of a composition but the track had a completely different name.
So I added the usual name of the composition in square brackets to allow me to merge the compositions. And then in some views (forgot which one) the opening bracket was not displayed.
Curiously, the compositions unmerged automatically as soon as I removed the square brackets with the usual composition name from the track name, so I had to keep it in there
This issue should have been resolved in one of our recent releases, so I will mark this thread as solved. If you still notice issues in this area, please let us know, thanks!
