· I use tidal. When I connect to Roon I have access to home and playlists, but when I attempt to play a song it skips down a few songs, plays one for a few seconds, then skips down to another and repeats the process

If you could, please access your Roon Settings > Services > Tidal > Edit and confirm your streaming format.
With that, we were able to review a fresh diagnostic report and saw the following error occur when playback was attempted:
Warn: [zone jim] Track Stopped Due to Bad Media
Are you able to play Tidal content via the Tidal app directly without issue? it may be worth exploring a different DNS server setting from your router, depending on what you’re currently using.
We have seen users have a better experience in the past if they change their Router’s DNS servers from the ISP provided ones to Cloudflare DNS, Quad9 or Google DNS. Can you please give this a try and let me know if it helps?
