Issue playing music. Not loading songs and skips to next song in queue. Tried rebooting Roon Nucleus and Phone and iPad app along with computer but no change.
Diagnostics from the affected Nucleus show two things:
First, Tidal content (even in lower-quality .MP3 format) is failing to buffer - the tracks in your library you’ve queued aren’t able to download from Tidal’s servers at all. In most cases, this is a Tidal account issue - I’d verify that your subscription tier hasn’t changed in the Tidal account page directly.
Second, there is packet loss within the network that causes two Zones to request samples that have gone missing between RoonServer - endpoint (one individual, Living Room, and one Grouped between multiple devices). If there’s no interference and good line-of-sight between your access points, then verify that multicast forwarding and IGMP snooping are enabled to ensure that multicast traffic is getting through. The most expedient test would be to hardwire Zones directly to the router serving RoonServer and see if you can reproduce dropouts.
However, skipping in the queue is most commonly the result of issue #1 above. Log out/back in of Tidal in Settings → Services within Roon.
