Sonore microrendu has disappeared off network since laterst roon update

As title, and i cant fix. Nothing is working, in this roon ready device. No other problems for any of my other devices. Its just the sonore microrendu…have been using it faultlessly for weeks. Then BANG! as soon as i agree to update roon, it no longer appears in audio setup or as an audiozone.

The roon self help thing ive tried. Yes its on the same subnet, yes roon processes are allowed through firewall etc etc. Like i say, its the only device. Even my ancient squeezeboxes are visible without any issues. And yes i can see the microrendu on the network theough its own admin page. Its only roon that cant see it.

Rendus can be tricky to operate at times. Have you tried this (in that order):

  • shut down the rendu
  • power off your DAC
  • shut down your Roon server
  • wait 1-2 minutes
  • power on your Dac
  • power on the rendu
  • go to MySonicorbiter.com, see if your rendu is seen
  • if so, start Dac Diagnostics, this will tell you if your rendu sees the DAC
  • if so, restart your Roon server

You may have to restart this sequence a couple of times.

I am looking over your account diagnostics and I don’t see the Rendu at all. I suspect you may need to reactivate Roon Ready mode somewhere in the settings, I’d give @Andre_Gosselin ‘s suggestions a try.
