Please give details about your configuration :server and your core. How are your server and core connected .To what DAC is the Sonore connected ? Have you tried going to mysonicorbiter.com, and made sure your Sonore is recognized, and configured as a Roon device (and not UPnP) ?
I personnally own an optical rendu connected to a USB DAC. No problem. If I can be of any help…

Hello @michalis ,

Welcome to our comunity, we are glad to see you here.

Would you kindly confirm are you still having the issue with the Sonore Optical Rendu? As we see under the Admin page the Sonore Optical Rendu is enabled on your Roon Server as the output device.

In case if the issue still persist please try to navigate to macOS System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network , and make sure Roon is allowed. If it is already enabled, toggle it off and on again. Then reboot your Mac, and see if the same issue persists.

Kind regards,
Vadim
