Describe the issue

Roon Rock is no longer showing Sonos speakers on my Sonos network as audio options. All of them have just gone!
It is showing them as Airplay options but even when these are enabled, they don’t play music and the track time indicator on the song stubbornly stays at 0.00. However that little indicator ( like a mini graphic equaliser) next to the speaker logo does move up and down to indicate it’s playing.
Music selection on Roon using Qobuz and my library is fully functioning as is its Ethernet feed to my DAC and WiFi link to play through my phone.
Sonos network working fine on its own,

Describe your network setup

BT fibre into BT Homehub 6 with direct feed to English Electric switch. Ethernet cable feed from switch straight to Roon Rock. No extenders in the home.

My Sonos speakers show but they don’t play. I get a couple of them with Apple TV and those work fine. Back in Sept our cable modem hardware was updated and since then I have double NATs. They want extra $$$ for a single IP address.

Hi @Dennis_Laslo1

Your post indicates you might require assistance from Roon technical support.

If Sonos devices aren’t being discovered, check whether the UPnP option has been disabled. Roon requires UPnP support.

Hello @Carlton_Andrews !

What @Giles_W says is actually right thing to check.

after you complete the check list please power cycle your nodes (router + Roon Server machine + Sonos speakers) and check again.

let us know please if it works.

Thanks!
Have a nice day!

Regards.

Thank you Alex and Giles! I’ve followed his advice, restarted my Roon and the speakers are visible again!
