It is very annoying that you do not have basic sort options for Tidal Songs like “Date Added”. You have filter but that is not same than sorting. I sometimes use Tidal and “know” where to look for which songs in my tracks list and I wpuld like to have the same orsered liat in Roon. That should not be a bog thing to offwr that…
This is available on the desktop app. First, you must add the Date added column to the view. Simply click on the gear icon to add. Then, select the columm to sort by ascending or descending order.

It’s in the Android app as far as I recall, but I suppose only on tablet devices, not on phones. Same with iOS. The phone app doesn’t have lots of features that larger devices have.

I really cannot confirm that. i tested now on tablet and its same as on phone.
I select TIDAL and then “My Tidal collection” and then I just have a Favorite tracks list that i cannot sort in any way to show the latest added sonfs first. Very annoying bexause that would be not rocket science to add such a feature. I do not even have a shuffle play there.
I meant My Library because nearly all Roon features only work for My Library. The Home > TIDAL page is like just a shopping window.
Other apps from Network player’s can also offer sorting Tidal songs. There is really no reason not to offer it. I just like to be able to see my favprites from Tidal exclusing my local files.
Can’t understand how such ridicilous basic feature’s are missing. I want to exclude my local library because it mainly consists of mp3 and Roon is still not capable of picking a FLACC Version of the song (instead of the local mp3) if available in tidal…
But of course one cannot spend a year time on a mostly useless feature like nugs and have time for basic cosmetic features like that.
Yes, it is. Use Focus. Unlike track columns, which won’t work on small displays, Focus can filter by storage location, e.g., TIDAL, and format.
No, focus will just exclude MP3 songs. I want roon to play those songs but when roon detects an mp3 i want roon to check whether tidal offer that song in better quality and play that one instead of the mp3 version…

Since this isn’t available, except via the Playlist Improver, you’ll need to create a request in Feedback > Feature Suggestions.
Yes that was indeed my question. I like to sort only the tidal songs by date added.
I just explained later why I do only want the Tidal songs sorted and not all my songs, because many are MP3 and because MP3 sounds bad and Roon cannot yet automatically play a higher quality version if available in Tidal. Then somebody meniomed Focus feature and then I explained why Focus is not same than sorting….
But yes, I think Tidal area should have sort by date added. Should be not difficult to add I think…
And I believe (can’t check because I’m not home) this can be done in Library > My Tracks on tablet or PC (not phone) by adding the Date Added column in the sort settings as described here,
Then add a Focus with Location: Tidal, and sort the result in the Date Added column.
You can also save this as a bookmark for quick access.

This is correct, and Focus can be used on a smaller mobile device.
I tried with bookmark, but that does not save the “date added” sort and on mobike i do not have the date added column.
Nevertheless I found another solution. One can create a “Smart Playlist” with Tidal Filter and date added sort. That works on mobile phone.
