I have a playlist that I quickly throw new music in to, but I want to order my playlist to have the most recently added at the top of the list (simply reversed of what the default is). This playlist has about 200 songs in it, but only 20 or so has date added metadata so sorting by that field isn’t possible. I’m using Qobuz primarily for this playlist. Is there no simple way to do this? And why doesn’t date added populate correctly? Thank you.
You can sort by the Date Added column I think (you may have to enable the column) but it isn’t what you expect. It’s the date when the track/album was added to Roon, not added to the playlist. This should populate correctly though.
There is a Feature Suggestions topic for date added to the playlist
Hey @Ne_Mo,
Thanks for writing in!
It seems you are also suffering from a known Qobuz issue that our team is currently working on - this is likely why some tracks don’t show a date added, here’s the tracking thread and more info:
You should be able to use this filter once we patch up this other fix.
Thanks, Benjamin. To confirm, I want to sort by date added to playlist so my newest added songs appear on top (and play first) and not the bottom of the list. As Suedkiez mentioned above, I don’t add every song to my library to keep it clean. Does the Qobuz issue also have to do with this?
Hi @Ne_Mo,
@Suedkiez is correct with the above - so you’ll want to head over to the Feature Suggestions to share your request!
