Sound Audirvāna against Roon

WHO Said that the Sound of Audirvāna is netter Than Roon. This is completely wrong. This is What I Need to say at sunday. I wish all a nice Weekend.

:joy:

Well, okay then.

Back when I was running JRiver Media Center, Audirvāna, and Roon on the same laptop (not at the same time), I was comparing sound quality, and Roon was the worst. This was at least a decade ago. A lot has changed since then (well, perhaps less so with JRiver), so I have no idea how things would shake out today.

In theory, they should all sound the same. Using a network audio bridge (e.g., Roon Ready endpoint or device running Roon Bridge) to physically separate the endpoint from the music server seems to reduce or eliminate the differences, depending on implementation.

Audirvāna seems to be more optimized for macOS than Windows…or that was the case back when I was using it. That may have changed since then also.

For me, Roon has the apps, UI and functionality that I enjoy using the most, so I’m not going back!
