Sound is not transferred to Airplay Devices

I am running a trial period in Roon after recommendations, to decide whether I will purchase a yearly subscription.
Core installed on Dell laptop running Windows 10 pro/64 bit/ i7/256 SSD
From laptop sound is driven to speakers through ProJect S2 Digital preamp (also used as a Headphone preamp).
Music uploaded from 2TB external drive where it is stored.
I have a couple of Airplay speakers (Bowers and Wilkins A5) that I would like to stream. Both connected to the same WiFi network to Core. Although recognized and enabled, when connected sound is not transferred. Picture shows music playing through these speakers, BUT no actual sound is transferred.

Having trouble with the B&W A5 speaker volume control

Roon finds my B&W A5 on my network without a problem, but when I select the A5 on “Zones” and play, the volume is too loud. I tried controlling volume on Roon but “Volume control not available” message occurs. How can I fix the problem.

Have you made sure to select the correct Zone before initiating playback? I would use these instructions to double check. If you have and sound is still not coming out, can you please post a screenshot of your Signal Path when playing back audio? Signal path should look something like this:

Thanks for posting that screenshot. Can you please confirm that other airplay zones work as expected such as an iPhone output?
