Jerry Goldsmith
Magic (1978)
I loved this film growing up…Dustin Hoffman was inspired & Steve McQueen was always ‘cool’. I assume it was rated ‘M’ & I was younger, so that was likely an instant bonus for me!!
Oh…checking the net out for a review…I see a remake 2017. I had no idea, guess that shows how much I pay attention to modern movies. (I eventually catch up with the ‘good’ ones. )

“The greatest adventure of escape ever filmed”:

Possessed (2020)
This isn’t a techno/electronica album like some of her other work, other than the first track . It received fairly mixed reviews, the most glowing likely 8/10 from Mojo. It largely differs from her previous work, likely closet to Raw Silk. It’s rather minimal & austere in feeling, meant to deliver a discomfort associated with the subject matter.

Poltergeist (1982)
Sept 2020 I posted Vampyros Lesbos by
Manfred Hubler & Siegried Schwab
Here is 3 Films By Jess Franco that includes the above. I think the films are all '70-'71. So, the overall vibe of the album is that kitsch '60’s psych & lounge. It’s actually a good album for the style, although perhaps it gets a bit tedious getting through the entire album. Or it would make an ideal album for a swinging 60’s party or practicing Kama Sutra.

Sometimes you just want over 4hrs of:
John Barry
The Collection - 40 Years of Films (2001)
As per review this 4 disc set skips some of his lessor known works, which for most is likely fine. So, I’d consider this more like a best of, rather a fully comprehensive collection.
Edit:
I should add that these are all ‘new’ recordings played by the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra & conducted by Nic Raine.
Haha…well I think many aren’t soundtrack listeners, until they start listening.
I often say that and I own all of those
But I only have about 70 soundtracks in my library. I’m sure I could do better
That’s a fair assortment - you’re well on your way…deep into abyss!
These two I’m posting together as they both feel to me to be era derivative.
As these films were somewhat of a parody, so too does the soundtrack.

Our Man Flint (1966) & In Like Flint (1967)
John Harrison
Day of the Dead (1985)
This sounds like either much of what you loved about 80’s music or conversely disliked.
Assassination Tango (2003)
Directed, produced & starring Robert Duvall.
It’s various, but roughly 50% is Luis Bacalov & then an assortment of mostly older tango tracks.
The story is heartbreaking. Have those tissues ready if you watch it.
Superb - gotta love some Angelo Badalamenti.
And the above look very interesting @CoralRad can’t say I’ve even heard of Jacques Demy.
Claudio Gizzi
Flesh For Frankenstein (1973) Blood For Dracula (1974)
Films by Andy Warhol.
Blood For Dracula
I think this theme and associated melody is rather exquisite!
Flesh For Frankenstein trailer
Lost in Translation (2003)
Various Artists.
It’s a bit of an alterative/indie soundtrack with 1/3 of the 15 tracks Kevin Shields & all in all is a solid album!
Angelo Badalamenti
The City of Lost Children (1996)
Yup, as per review, not you stereotypical Badalamenti & it is rather gloomy. I think 3/5 is fair, but it’s not a terrible album at all, with some full orchestration provided by The Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.
