· Hello. I just bought an SP3000T, one of the perks of this, is a promotion code with 2 months worth of Roon. The code is recognized but I could not use it. Can you please add 2 months if I give you the code? I had to pay this month on my own.

yes, I just tried, the message is: “You already have a Roon Subscription. Please contact us if you are trying to get a second subscription.“.

Perhaps something wrong on APIs side ?

Hey @sharkandseashell, hope you don’t mind me jumping in here. I’m with the accounts & billing team and can share a bit more context about how Roon trial codes work!

The code that accompanies a device purchase (like your SP3000T) is a Roon trial meant for new customers, so they can test Roon with their new device. This code can only be redeemed on a new Roon account or during a free trial period.

Unfortunately, these types of trial codes cannot be redeemed on an active Roon account (i.e. on which a Roon subscription is active). I see that your account currently has an active monthly subscription, so your account is no longer eligible for this kind of code.

We’re hoping you might consider gifting the code to an audiophile in your life. Of course, if you have any questions, we’d love to know!
