Squeezebox Transporter experiences delayed start and frequent stops with connectivity issues (ref#PV4R66)

Describe the issue

Squeezebox Transporter starts playing after two-three seconds from play action and stops constantly, no matter Tidal or local files. Lots or connectivity issues and símptomes even does not connect to Server

Describe your network setup

Router NAS and Sa Transporter. Cable to nas and wifi to router (30 cm away)

If the network is as you describe, you are using Wi-Fi between router and NAS. Is this correct?

Ideally, always use an Ethernet between router, Roon server / NAS, and the streamer. If possible, temporarily test using a long Ethernet cable to help identify the cause.

From your description we could not clearly understand your network topology, so we would like to ask you , if possible, to simplify your network for test purposes. Please connect your Roon Server machine directly to the router via cable, bypassing the netgear, if you have any, and so do for the audio endpoint, if it is not wired .

If you can connect the Transporter with Ethernet, that may help diagnose the issue (I am assuming the NAS also runs Roon Server.)

Done it. But issue is not Transporter only, no one of my players do work today as used to.

Bad Roon server behaviour, today?

Failure seems to be related only to Transporter, as my Squeezebox Touch and Marantz M-CR610 can handle a 24 bits / 96 kHz files but Transporter cannot manage

“Works better” means that you have no problems at all or that they occur less frequently.

Please provide us with the exact time and track name when the problem occurs again in Sonic Transporte when connecting via cable.

Squeezebox Transporter is the player with issues.

Yesterday I tried up to 4 consecutive times to play it, no success.

After it the whole “The Pasadenas” crashed every essay.

Time? From 17:00 to 19:00 all failed.

Today seems to work by cable. I got no time for full testing until later
