I just taken out a subscription to Roon and to Qobuz in anticipation of my new Roon ready streaming device which arrives next week. I currently use an old S1 Sonos streaming system. I have set up Roon on my PC and linked my music files on my hard drive. I have also downloaded the app on to my ipad. The app shows that it has found my Roon Core (my desktop PC) and says it is connecting but nothing actually happens. What should I do next ? I am not particularly tech savvy
If you don’t get anywhere quickly, open a new post in the support area and fill in all of the required information. You’ve posted in no man’s land so support won’t see it.

Thanks. Does that mean that I would always have to have the firewall off while using Roon ?
No you can add in exceptions/rules for the app.
