Station failing to load with error "Playback was interrupted because a track failed to load"

Running Version 1.7 (build 571) stable on NUC. Have restarted Roon server and Roon OS multiple times. This is happening on all zones.

I’m trying to load the internet radio station mvyradio. In all honesty, I’m not sure if I added this to my library or I found it in the list or preloaded stations. But it has been working for months with no issue

The configuration for the station has the following stream URL http://opml.radiotime.com/Tune.ashx?id=s187789&formats=mp3,aac

I see this in the logs when I try to stream the station

What can I do to fix this?

I don’t know where the icy:// in the log comes from, but there is a known bug when it comes down to open https:// streams from non-standard ports (5855 in your example).

Try using this link instead, does it work for you?

Hello @Mark_de_Lellis, that is a Tunein link so I think you must have added it as we do not use those on the main database.

I don’t know why it worked in the past, but I confirm it does not work now, and @BlackJack has probably found the reason with identifying the https bug.

The stream that @BlackJack found (thank you) does work and I have used that to add MVYRadio to the main database.

Thank you @BlackJack and @BrianW !

I tried changing the stream URL in the entry I apparently created and it wouldn’t save it for some reason. So I just deleted it and found the one @BrianW added to the database and it’s working now.

Strange that the one I added worked for months and stopped, but their Windows Media stream also broke at the same time late last week so maybe it was something on their end.

Good news @Mark_de_Lellis, pleased to hear everything OK, and apologies for your inconvenience.
