Have just created a roon server, gloriously over specified! I have put rock onto the PCI ssd and for the first time in my experience added a 3tb drive. Its been spotted and I have told it to be used,. this aslo brought on line the cd ripper.
Just to check when I mount rock on my pc there is a data folder in here is a lot of folders. Is the storage folder the 3tb drive? Its not abundantly clear that is the case as clearly there is the system folders on here too.
Can you clarify - the SSD and the 3TB drive are separate drives?
The Storage folder is NOT the 3TB drive, it should show up as a folder inside the Storage folder.
Can you post a screenshot of the Web Administration interface of your server, and also a screenshot of the contents of the \\ROCK\Data\Storage folder as seen in Windows File Explorer?

Interestingly Krusader under linux sees the Storage folder but does not see the Internal Storage inside.
Also because I am a good boy now, can I be taken of moderation, it super annoying just because I moaned about roon radio, everyone moans about roon radio!

This does not show up in krusader a linux file browser. Most odd!
Does it see SMB v2 shares, might be configured to view v3 for security, ROCK only supports up to SMB v2
You didn’t mention which distribution, which probably would be more relevant, but if you search for SMB + Krusader you will find lots of discussions about Manjaro and the necessary installation of some Samba components
I don’t think this is the issue krusader sees the storage folder it does not see the folder inside of it. unless somehow rock is mounting an SMB share within a folder.
I suspect its more to do with krusader being in a docker inside unraid and unraid is mounting rock via unassigned drives into krusader. I have seen this weirdness before. Its a shame because would be the quickest way to transfer the music but it is what it is.
You need to click under storage. Internal Storage would be there. At the moment, the pic you posted is the OS drive, not a secondary internal drive.
I am interested to understand how the storage exists within a folder on the main drive. I am assuming some sort of sim link or something.
Yes, that is a folder of links.
See mine…under storage I find both a folder of Internal Storage and the USB attached WD drive.
Ok cool, well its works, I have no idea why krusader cannot see that one folder but I will do some more poking around.
Another interesting observation. I have removed the spare harddrive for now (getting an SSD) and in its place is tailscale. When the harddrive is in place tailscale does not show. Odd to say the least.
