Strange alarm sound coming from NUC

Since applying the recent Roon software update, my NUC83i has started emitting an “alarm sound”. It’s happened twice so far and each time at 7:00am. It lasts for about a minute or 2. It’s a high pitched warble that sounds just like the alarm in a cheap electronic watch or clock.

I’ve looked around in the Roon settings for something scheduled to run, but I don’t see anything.

Anyone have any idea what is causing this?

do you have any household appliances that switch on at that time and may affect the mains?

I don’t think so. Plus the NUC is on a UPS, so it shouldn’t be effected by a power glitch.

Check your smoke alarm.
