Stream Box S2 Ultra - losing connection to core, then not rediscoverable

Core Machine (Operating system/System info/Roon build number)

Synology 918+
Roon version 1.7 Build 667
Macbook pro as remote running 1.7/667 also

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)

Have tried both wired and wireless. Same problem on both.

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)
Stream Box S2 Ultra with USB connection to Focal Arche.
Have Naim Nova and Naim Muso 2 which both work fine.
Similarly I have a Chord Mojo/Poly which works fine too.
Poly/Muso wirelessly.
Nova wired.

Description Of Issue

The streambox I was able to connect once I updated it to the latest firmware. System reports: system version 1.065, Hardware firmware version: 115, Hardware Revision: 6

Having 2 issues:

1. Stream box being seen as an end point.
   It seems like a sufficient number of reboots of the streamer and/or the Arche and it will connect. Right now the streamer is up and showing both blue lights. Set to DSD over PCM roon. But not being seen as a roon end point.

2. When you do get it to connect it will stop after a while.
   Once connected it plays for a series of songs sometimes 1 or 2, sometimes 9 or 10, but then the audio stops.

I have had this in two scenarios. One where the roon connection completely goes, and another when Roon (or the streamer play app vs Tidal) just loses the connection to the Arche.
Roon will show as still playing.

Switch off, fully power off, unplug all cables, restart, reconnect. Now shown as a roon end-point again.
