Is it just streaming?
I ask as further up in your post you say both streaming and local tracks?

Anyway if just streaming it’s usually an indication that your Roon Server can’t communicate to the streaming services to authenticate your accounts hence you get just 30 second samples.
Have you checked your connection and verified you are logged in correctly on both services inside of Roon?

Thanks
Will check this. This just started happening - haven’t changed configuration of anything, so not sure why it started.

And while checking, the good old full reboot of components never hurts to try either

Hi @Michael_Lurie,

Thanks for writing in - it’s good to see you on the community again! Sorry to hear it’s a playback issue that’s sparked your recent post though.

@AceRimmer is steering you in the right direction, I’d be curious to see if a reboot helps in this situation.

If possible, I’d also consider testing out different cables/ports if your Mac system output isn’t having any issues.

We’ll be on standby for your reply! :raised_hands:

Actually system output has the same issue. 29 seconds of audio, and then the next track in both Qobuz and Tidal. Playing files already stored on HD is fine.

Hey @Michael_Lurie,

Sorry to hear your issues continue! If you could please share a track name when you reproduce the issue, then please use the directions found here and send over a set of logs to our File Uploader?

Thank you!
