I have had (and have for 2 years with Roon) a Zenith Mk.3 server plugged directly to my top-end router.
Rebooted too many times to this point. All was updated. Was working then I would periodically get “oops something is wrong” come up.
Now it will find my Innuos server, which says ready and the “connect” icon is Blue. When I click on the connect icon, it only takes me to “submit my login” then says I am already logged in.
Also will now just say “select a different core”. Innuos works fine with music software so it is not Innuos.
Please let me know what to do from here, I have spent over 8 hours to to aval.
Thank you, Patrick
Sometimes it says “connect to a different core” and when you click that it shows your usual core, i.e., the Innuos in this case. Then you click Connect for that and all is good. Happened to me once or twice with ROCK as well
Sorry to hear it happened also to you, but it won’t go any further than connect, just to sign in, which is already signed in. I can’t screen shot as I am stuck at work.
OK then that’s different, I just thought it’s worth trying if it then connects anyway. When it happened to me it was no problem at all, just once or twice (I think after an update) it asked again to connect, and then that was done in a second
Thanks for reaching out and for your patience here. I’ve enabled logging for your Core and looking over the diagnostics, it looks like Roon on the Core is crashing at times. It’s possible that there is a faulty hardware component at play, such as a failing hard drive on the Innuous.
Have you by any chance reached out to the Innuous team to see if they can run a system check on the hardware? If you are stuck and cannot sign in, then resetting the Roon database and reverting from backup is likely the best next step until you hear back from Innuous.
