We have reviewed the diagnostics report from your machine and can confirm that there is corruption in your database.
The Cause
We also analyzed the health of your disk drive, and the good news is that the hardware itself is fine. However, the logs indicate that the machine is frequently being powered off in an unsafe way (e.g., unplugging it from the power socket without a proper shutdown procedure). This sudden power loss is the likely cause of the database corruption.
The Solution
To resolve this, you will need to set aside the corrupted database and generate a fresh one.
We wanted to reach back out to confirm you saw the response above. It’s essential that you restore from your earliest available Backup as soon as possible to isolate the problem and prevent further corruption to your database.
Latent corruption can’t be solved by reinstalling alone or deleting files from your Roon library. Roon has found unexpected errors during regular database scanning, and these can quickly and silently propagate to affect more and more of your Roon database.
If you have regular Roon backups, try restoring from the earliest available Backup. Otherwise, you will unfortunately need to reset the database fully via the instructions above.
We’re eager to answer any questions you might have. Thank you.
