Suddenly cannot start audio stream on Chord Poly

I am getting the error message “Starting playback on your audio device. This may take a moment!” Playback never begins. So far it only happens on this endpoint, not on others. Poly operates in airplay mode perfectly fine. Roon Core 1.7 runs on Mac Mini. This is the first time I’ve had any issues after over a year with the Poly.

The “Starting playback on your audio device. This may take a moment!” message means that the Roon Core has requested that the Poly switch to its Roon Ready input, but it’s seemingly failing to tell Roon that this operation was completed successfully. I recommend reaching out to Chord Electronics support, they’ll be best positioned to diagnose what’s happening on the Poly.

So to follow up…Mitch at Chord set me straight. The Poly’s Bluetooth connection was being latched onto by my phone. Disable/forget BT and good to go. :sunglasses:
