Suggestions for grouping with Sonos

I just installed a headless Mac Mini with output to Schiit Modi 3 DAC via USB. The modi is connected to my Yamaha Receiver and works great. I am trying to add a Sonos connect to the mix in order to group the audio in the back of my house. I have tried using the 1/8 out to RCA on Sonos and grouping the outputs in Roon, but there is a very noticeable delay I can’t seem to sync.

Any suggestions on syncing these? I was thinking of splitting the signal from the DAC output to the receiver and Sonos.

Sonos cannot be grouped. It’s a well known implementation. Just go take a look at the Sonos section of this forum. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but this is not something new.
