Support for ps audio stellar gold?

Just upgraded to PS Audio Stellar Gold DAC. When I went into Roon setup and tried to pick device, it lists PS Audio DACs, but not the Stellar Gold DAC (it also doesn’t list my old Stellar GainCell). So what do you do when your device is not listed? I picked one of the other ones, and it’s playing music, but when I play a high-res file (like 96Hz/24 bit), the DAC display says it’s getting 44Hz/16 data. The Roon server is running on a Mac-mini (about 3 years old) with apple’s recent Tahoe OS. The DAC and Mini are connected with USB cable. I’m inexperienced with Roon setup, so am pretty lost on what to try. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, David

This DAC is not listed on the Roon Partners page for PS Audio:

Therefore I think you will need to set the parameters in the Device Setup screen manually to match what the DAC is capable of.

Thanks for quick response. I think you’re right. I looked at roon support for help on setting parameters manually for a DAC, but it didn’t say much. One item in the dialog box is “exclusive mode”, and I have no idea what this is. The support page didn’t show the “advance” part of the dialog box. The Stellar Gold DAC using USB can handle about everything except native DSD and MQA. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, David

Here’s an update…I got it to see high-res files by entering DAC settings manually. I think what did it was setting exclusive mode, although still don’t understand exactly what that does. Most of the other settings looked correct or I left them default. Anyhow, I got that problem solved. David
