Swapping internal boot drive

HI, I’ve decided to change my rock boot drive from a 1 TB NVMe that my nuc came with to a smaller one and repurpose the 1TB.

Should I follow all the initial instructions for setting up a new ROCK on the new drive (with the usb and codec import ) and import my Roon database backup or is there a better way?

That would be the safest route. Basically follow the instructions as if you were moving to a new pc I think.
