Switch zones on the fly

Hi might be me being moronic but how do I switch zones with playing music?

I am sat in the conservatory now I need to go cook dinner so want to pass to a new zone?

Hi Gareth,

Right click (or long press) the Zone icon at the bottom right of the screen, then select Transfer Zone.

This is also built into the volume controls – it’s the little “arrows” icon at the top of the volume popup.

Or if they are the same sort of kit you can group the zones together and play in both…

Somehow since the layout has changed in version 1.4 I believe I always grab wrong. It would be a lot more logical to keep the volume button purely for volume and the zone icon for the rest, like zone switching, grouping, dsp etc. Or at least the transfer zone function. That really belongs there imho and not under the volume button. Now it feels like functions spread around randomly, hard to remember where to find things. After a lot of time I still grab wrong about 75% of the time. Nitpicking little thing I know but it just feels inconsistent.

On PC and android tablet if you right click(PC) or long press(android) on the zone you get a menu with transfer zone, also.
