Switching from ASIO-to-WASAPI and back

I haven’t been able to find this usecase in the community, but if someone knows of another thread, let me know.

My DAC has two drivers: ASIO and WASAPI. I like to use ASIO when I am exclusively listening to music, but sometimes ROON needs to play music in the background and give the ASIO exclusion back to other apps. Namely, YouTube hates it when ROON has taken over the device, as does some other software, like Ableton Live.

Am I do something wrong? Instead of picking the WASAPI drive for this, should I be selecting System Output?
