Roon 1.8 brought covers into the track view. I know lots of users had been requesting that, and are very happy this feature is now in. However, not everyone is happy with that and unfortunately I am part of the latter group of users. It takes too much space on the screen. A simple solution would be to put the covers in a separate column that can be added or removed. Otherwise adding it as an option in settings is also a possibility. What would be even cooler, but more complicated, is grouping songs from the same album behind a single cover, so you don’t see the same cover several times, taking useless space, when displaying several tracks from the same album. But that is probably wishful thinking and anyways useless when sorting by something else than album name.
