I downloaded the Nucleus bin file to install the Early Access on my Nucleus, but I can’t find the directory to install it.
Where can I find it?
This process requires your ROCK / Nucleus to be running RoonOS 1.0 build 253 or later. If you have not yet updated to RoonOS device to the latest version of RoonOS you will need to do that before proceeding.
Download the instruction file from the link provided below and save it on your computer. Do not modify the name, extension, or content of this file.
Navigate to the /Data/Reinstall directory on your Nucleus / ROCK.
Copy the instruction file that you downloaded into the Reinstall directory.
Visit the RoonOS admin page and click on the “Reinstall” button.
That I got from Roon Help. But I can’t find this directory on Windows.
It’s not on Windows, you need to put the file in the correct directory on the Nucleus.
And how can I do that?
From your Windows PC, navigate to the /Data/Reinstall directory on your Nucleus. This is a network share. Then move or copy the file to the directory.
I looked for that Directory on Windows Explorer, but I couldn’t find it, I’m afraid I haven’t enough IT knowledge to do it. 
This Roon help page gives instruction on how to connect a Windows PC to the Nucleus (or ROCK) file system shares.
Note this article is for copying over music files to the internal storage drive, but, the principal is the same … it’s just the file path will be different.
In this case you need to navigate to:
//NUCLEUS<version>/Data/Reinstall
Substituting <version> depending on what version of the Nucleus you have (as defined on the linked article).

I’ve only made one post is this topic, my post includes the link to the help page … which covers how to connect to the RoonOS file system share.
Once you are able to connect, use the information in the link that @Rugby provided on how to switch over to EA.
I hope this helps, follow the method and report back if you get stuck at a particular stage.
Connect to the Nucleus from your Windows computer
- Open File Explorer
- In the address bar, copy and paste the hostname and directory path based on the type of Nucleus you have (choose one from below):
- Nucleus One:
\\NUCLEUSONE\Data\Storage\InternalStorage - Nucleus Titan:
\\NUCLEUSTITAN\Data\Storage\InternalStorage - Nucleus:
\\NUCLEUS\Data\Storage\InternalStorage - Nucleus+:

If prompted for a username and password, enter Guest for both.

OK. Thank you. I followed the indications and copied and paste the path for Nucleus One, but the Explorer told me He couldn’t find the directory.
Just tell me, isn’t it possible Roon to access my Nucleus through the web and install the software directly?
If using Win11 isn’t there a tweak needed to enable the share to be visible ? I forget the specific but maybe Jose needs to fix that first.

Sure, but only using the App. The only thing I can’t do is getting the Early Access feature.
Assuming that you can navigate the directory structure on the Nucleus from your Windows computer (not app, I’m not sure what that is) then follow the steps from Rugby’s post above:
Unfortunately I just can´t establish that connection. That’s why I was asking if Roon can’t do it through the web…
I don’t own a Nucleus and am unfamiliar with how to administer it, and don’t know what management capabilities are available from its web UI. Maybe someone with definitive knowledge can answer your question.
However, the Early Access directions may still work for you if you can connect the Windows computer to the Nucleus using the Nuc’s IP address instead of the hostname of NUCLEUSONE.
Are you able to find the Nuc’s IP address and use it in File Explorer’s address bar? Let’s pretend that the Nuc’s IP address was 192.168.114.100. You would use that in place of NUCLEUSONE:
\\192.168.114.100\Data\Storage\InternalStorage
Use the real IP address of the Nucleus, not the pretend one I use in the example above.
It just answers that Windows can’t access. Maybe ncpl is right and it needs some Windows 11 tweek before.
