T+A Multi Source Player (MP 2500 R G3) as roon endpoint

I’ve got my T+A MP 2500 R G3 upgrade November last year and waiting for it getting Roon tested for a good 6 months now. While I can use Roon via Bluetooth from my Mac it lacks the same quality playing natively via Roon + the MP 2550 R I had been using with the prior G2 player for years. Upgrading to a newer technology became a Roon downgrade which I took the risk assuming it shouldn’t take more than 2-3 months … which apparently was naive on my end to start with.

Any outlook when the Roon Ready will become Roon Tested with the Generation 3 version of the T+A MP 2500 R? Anything I can assist to speed the process up? I’m more than happy to serve as a test partner :slight_smile:

You need to ask T+A about the status of this since (i) Roon does not comment, and (ii) it is the manufacturer’s responsibility to attain certification.

Hello Ingo any news from T+A? I have a MP2500 and maybe want to upgrade to G3. My Denon A1 got the Roon upgrade. So when I send the unit to T+A and it will take a couple of weeks I am still good.
Can you hear any differences between G2 and G3?
