The tagging system in Roon 1.7 was fine. You could add/remove multiple tags on an album very easily. Now try to remove 2-3 tags on a specific album in Roon 1.8. You need to go to the Tag section and figure out how where is the delete tag button is located. So if you have a Marc Hamelin album tagged as ‘classical’, ‘contemporary classical’ and ‘classical piano’ and want to only keep ‘classical piano’, you will have to delete the first two tags in their respective tag category…This is ridiculous. ´If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!´

Great then. Beside that, I really think that v1.8 is a significant improvement over v1.7!
How did the Roon team address it? Thx.
They made a statement in another thread saying they are working on re instating tags based on recent feedback.

That’s wonderful. Of all that I’ve read of the 1.8 complaints, the only thing holding me back from upgrading to 1.8 is the tag situation.
