Tagged artist shows up incorrectly sorted when filtering My Artists by that tag
1 Gb down/50 Gb up broadband → DOCSIS 3.1 modem → Eero wifi router → Ethernet cable → Netgear switch → Ethernet cable → M2 Mac Mini running MacOS 13.6 and Roonserver Build 1470

If you expected them to be sorted under C, then you probably have to go to Edit and change the First-Last Sort Name
Under “my artists” you will only find the artists by whom you have albums of which they are the primary artist.
Do you have albums by Roxy Coss, not only as a credited artist but as a primary artist?
@suedkiz – Thanks, I’d just realized that and edited my post, and had included a screenshot showing artist sorting order being set to Last Name.
Or is there some other place you meant that the name should be sorted? – In the album itself, or artist entry itself…?
@Arlen – thanks for the troubleshooting suggestion. I think I do have her as primary artist (screenshot) – is that what you meant…?
In your case, Roon doesn’t know what the last name and the first name are. You can change it in the artist editor. Most artists already have the info what the Last Name to be sorted by is, but if it is missing or you don’t like the default you can edit it
@suedkiz – OK, I found the First-Last Sort Name under the Artist entry and changed it and now it works as expected. Thanks!
Yes, exactly. She appeared in your library, as @Suedkiez noticed, so my remark isn’t relevant in your situation.
