Unfortunately I don’t read Dutch, so cannot follow the images you’ve posted and don’t quite follow what you’re saying. However I can tell you unequivocally that Roon will default to the IMPORTDATE field if present, regardless of other date settings or modifications. However, the format DD-MM-YYYY will not work properly, Roon will treat this as a standard US date format and will interpret it as MM-DD-YYYY. The format isn’t really optional, the best format to use is the international standard YYYY-MM-DD.
After a week of tagging I have the idea that everything is now going according to plan. The Date Added is preserved and I notice that there are many more useful possibilities to apply. Furthermore, I have used the international standard for date import as advised by Antonmb.
