Description Of Issue
Hello,
as in my family there are two person using the same Rock/Tidal-Qobuz with very different genres I would like to avoid mess and apply a tag that identify the new added items to library per person
then I would apply a filter that exclude from my selection what I don’t want to see/listen… for example, all the new items I will add will be tagged with “Paolo” and all the new items added by my girlfriend tagged with “Marcella”… then I select “Marcella” and all those entries are hidden… is it possible.? How?
the request come from my library that already has roughly 1000 items and I can’t tag all them one by one … that could drive me crazy…much simpler to tag the new entries from my girlfriend with her name
You would add Marcella as a tag to all the new albums. Then under albums you would choose the Tag Marcella, once it has been filtered for Marcella, click it again and it will turn into a “-Marcella” and give you everything that is not Marcella.
At this point, you can then create a bookmark and just open the bookmark and it will remember the filter.
Ciao Daniel,
thanks a lot, first step works perfectly… now I just have to discover how to create bookmark using an iPad… I’m going to search into Roon user manual
update: ok, done! it’s perfect!
Just one more question… how can I delete tag from the tag’s list?
If you are talking about the tag which is used to sort everything, than no, it has to stay there since, the bookmark is bookmarking THE SORT not the actual albums.
