Tags Disappearing?

Description of Issue

I tagged a bunch of songs (from approximately 30 albums that I added today) and the majority of the tags disappeared a few hours after I added them. Very annoying - any idea what may have caused this?

I typically add Star Ratings to songs via Tag. All of the 3 star and 2 star tags disappeared. The other tags remained.

HELP!

Are the tags still checked if you look in the tags menu? I guess so - we have seen some of these things in recent versions, where tags or custom genres simply weren’t displayed. At least if they are still checked in the tags menu they are not really gone and the display can be fixed by Roon without you having to redo them.

No idea about the stars though. Mine seem to be all there as far as I can tell

Unfortunately they are not showing anywhere, not even in the tag list.

I noticed today that my album collection (tagged albums) were not showing up when I hit tags. Actually nothing was showing up. I typed one letter as if to filter and then they showed when I clicked backspace (to clear the search) and clicked off. Weird but they are back now. I am almost a full month as a new Roon user, and I can say it is a kind of magic, both when it works, and how it sometimes can be fixed by growling at it :wink:

Interesting! Mine did not reappear! Which really sucks. It just makes me worried that if I spend hours adding Tags, they might just disappear :frowning:

Are you still running into issues with your tags disappearing? If so, can you please list the specific tag names you were using?

If you’re still experiencing issues, we’ll want to grab a set of manual logs from your core device. Please use the directions found here and send over a set of logs to our File Uploader.
