Description of Issue

I replaced a Mac mini as my Roon server with a Nucleus Titan. I migrated everything, and the server works within the home. I can not figure out the port forwarding for Roon Arc, so I got Tailscale. Preceeding the Nucleus Titan, I could use my phone and my office computer to connect to the Roon server on my Mac. Currently with Tailscale, I can connect with my phone and my office computer; however, neither of these devices can connect to the Roon Nucleus Titan. Is there something special required to connect the roon Nucleus Titan and tailscale for Linux?

Did you follow the instructions?

Hi @Alan_Aplin ,

Welcome to the forum! The guide provides a great starting point how to get Tailscale set up, should you still have issues after following the guide, please let us know what step you get stuck on, preferably with screenshots, thanks!

What can you do when you see there is a tailscale update for Nucleus Titan and when attempt to upgrade from 1.72.1 to 1.80.2

Hi @Alan_Aplin,

Just to clarify, are you asking if this Tailscale update will affect RoonServer and ARC? It’s unlikely that Tailscale updates will disrupt performance.

However, if you still have RoonServer installed on your Mac, however, ARC will likely still be synced to that RoonServer instead of the Titan. Make sure that you sync ARC to the Nucleus on your home WiFi, irrespective of Tailscale. You may need to reinstall ARC after migrating to authorize ARC on the new server.
