Tailscale stopped working with Roon ARC, showing 'Not ready' message (ref#G68OY1)

Network Setup

· I use my ISP's router alongside a personal router.

ARC Status

· ARC is *Not Ready*

Roon Error Code

· The ARC settings page says "Not Ready," but I can still connect to ARC via cellular data. I'm having another problem.

Describe the issue

I did have Tailscale working like a treat. It was so easy, But for whatever reason it just stopped a bit over a month ago. I get the `Not ready' message and `Roon ARC will not be able to access your Roon Server'.
I've tried the troubleshooting but I'm just not bright enough to understand what it all means. (tearing my hair out trying to).

Here is the diagnostics data I've copied:
{
"ipv4_connectivity": {"status":"NetworkError","status_code":504,"error":"error: Error: ETIMEDOUT, response code: undefined, body: undefined connected? undefined"},
"external_ip": {"actual_external_ip":"206.ddd.eee.fff","actual_external_ipv6":"null","router_external_ip":"null"},
"natpmp_autoconfig": {"status":"NotFound"},
"upnp_autoconfig": {"server_ip":"10.0.0.1","found_upnp":true,"error":"s:ClientUPnPError501ActionFailed"}
}

Describe your network setup

-ISP: Starlink
-Starlink 3rd Gen Mesh (with bypass mode switched on) and an Orbi RBS850 modem and three satellites.
Nucleus one
Starlink Mesh router connected to Orbi router via ethernet. Nucleus One connected to Orbi router via Netgear Gigabit switch.
Mac Studio connects to Orbi router via ethernet.
- Mac OS Sequoia 15.3.2

The error message pertains to port forwarding and it’s completely irrelevant for the Tailscale solution.

Does it work? Then all is good

Hi @Ross_Carroll ,

It sounds like ARC is working as expected, @Suedkiez is correct here that the port forward message can be disregarded if you are using the Tailscale solution. I’ll go ahead and mark this one as solved but if you have further difficulties, just let us know!
