Thanks for your patience, and sorry for the trouble.

Good news first: there’s nothing wrong with your Roon setup, your network, or your equipment. I checked your logs and everything on your end is working perfectly. Your own music library plays fine, and Roon is talking to our servers without any problems.

The issue is on talkSPORT’s side. They’ve changed the web address their live stream lives at, and the old address stored in Roon no longer works, a bit like a shop moving premises without updating its listing. That’s exactly why you’re seeing “Unable to play station. Its address may have changed.”

Your logs show it clearly: talkSPORT played normally right up to 14 August, and from 20 August onward every attempt comes back “not found” in all three of your zones (Office, Lounge and Kitchen) equally.

The good news is you can fix this yourself in about a minute by adding the station back with its new address. Here’s how:

Adding talkSPORT back

  1. Open Roon on your computer, tablet or phone.
  2. In the menu down the left-hand side, click My Live Radio.
  3. Click the Add Station button.
  4. You’ll see a box asking for a web address. Copy and paste this into it, exactly as written: https://radio.talksport.com/stream
  5. In the Name box, type: talkSPORT
  6. Click Save.

That’s it. talkSPORT will now appear in your My Live Radio list, and you can play it from there just like before. If you’d like it easier to find, click the heart icon on the station to add it to your favorites.

A couple of small notes:

  • The old, broken talkSPORT entry will still be sitting in the main Live Radio list. Just ignore it and use the one you’ve added, or, if you prefer, you can remove it from your favorites so it stops appearing.
  • If step 5 gives you an error saying Roon can’t find a station at that address, let me know, and I’ll find you an alternative address to use instead.
